Our New Recording System is Live! Learn about and visit our new recording system. 

The Recording Department records, indexes, and archives public documents related to real property transfers, deeds of trust, liens, plats and others transactions. We preserve many documents as permanent public records. The Recording Department also issues and records marriage and civil union licenses.

Research Recorded Records

  • Search Records Lists Online, Our free online public search covers all indexing data (no images) of recorded documents from November 1977 - present. You can purchase PDFs of documents online with a credit card.

  • Open an Online Subscription - With an online subscription, you get full time access to an unlimited number of records images 24-7, during the subscription period.   For $75 weekly, or $300 monthly, you can search view, print, and download all recorded documents. First Preview the Online Subscription Agreement. To set up your account, complete and submit the Online Subscription Agreement. You will receive an email with instructions and your login information.

  • Visit our Recording Research Room for all documents 1880 to current - open Monday – Fridays from 9 am – 4:30 pm (copies are $.25 per page or $5.50 for plats)

Access Historical Documents....from 1880 - November 1977 

  • By mid-year 2017 historic documents will be available in our recording system.  

  • Currently, you can access historical documents in our Recording Research Room (Open Monday – Friday from 9 am – 4:30 pm). Copies are $.25 per page or $5.50 for plats)

  • Until we complete loading our historical documents (prior to November 1977) into our recording system, come into our office or use the copy request form to order copies of these documents.

Open an Escrow Account for In Office Requests

An escrow account allows you to put money in escrow and draw from it anytime you have a fee based transaction including IN OFFICE copies and recording fees. Until the historical documents from 1880 to 1977 are loaded into our system, you may also use the copy request form above to obtain copies of these documents. Our escrow agent login service allows you to view your current balance and transaction history directly online.
