Jenny Lyons
Mental Health Program Administrator

Jenny Lyons is pleased to join the Pitkin County Public Health team as the Mental Health Program Administrator, focusing on the PACT Co-Responder program. Jenny moved to the Valley to work at Rocky Mountain Institute after earning a degree in Environmental Studies from Dartmouth College. A one-year internship turned into more than six years at RMI, where she assisted the communications director and rose to the position of Media Relations Director.

She transitioned to working in development at the Aspen Music Festival and School, leading their special events, and moved into corporate and foundation support as well as individual fundraising. Jenny then split time between raising two young children and leading development efforts at Theatre Aspen.

She is a 2006 graduate of Roaring Fork Leadership, which deepened her love for the Valley and the community here. Jenny is grateful to be able to bring her years of project management and relationship-building skills to continue serving our local community.

When not at work, she enjoys singing as well as biking and snowboarding with her family. Determined to show her kids than one must always try new things, Jenny is also learning to ski.
