Ariel Holstein earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from the University of Louisville. After working as a Professional Research Assistant in OBGYN at the University of Colorado, she developed an interest in health disparities and went on to earn a Master of Public Health from the Colorado School of Public Health. She worked in research and evaluation at the Department of Veterans Affairs before joining Pitkin County Public Health. In her spare time, Ariel enjoys running, skiing, hiking, cooking, and spending time with her husband and their dog.
