The Human Services Economic Assistance Department is hosting three events in September to inform local residents about Colorado’s Low-income Energy Assistance Program (LEAP). LEAP is a federally funded program that helps eligible hard-working Colorado families, seniors, and individuals pay a portion of their winter home heating costs. More information about the program can be found at https://cdhs.colorado.gov/leap. Information about eligibility and how to apply will be covered and staff will be on hand to answer questions. Spanish interpretation will be provided at the Aspen and Basalt events. Light food will be served at all. For more information about the events, call 970-920-5235.
