The final steel beam of the new Aspen Ambulance Station was lowered into place today by a huge crane. The facility is under construction next to Pitkin County's Health and Human Services building and across from Aspen Valley Hospital on Castle Creek Road. Representatives of building project signed the beam before it was hoisted into place atop the building. They include Pitkin County Commissioner Chair, Greg Poschman, Aspen Valley Hospital CEO and AVH board representative, Dave Ressler, Ambulance District Director, Gabriel Muething, Architect Kevin Heath,

and FCI Contractor Brian Young.
