We are, however, modifying our usual operations to increase safety to staff and those we serve relative to COVID-19.

You will see the deputies out and about as you normally would, but they will be trying to keep a physical distance of at least six feet while doing their jobs. Obviously, that will not always be the case, and when deputies need to interact with others they will be adhering to the recommended guidelines of frequent hand washing and sanitizing, as we all should be.

If you need to speak to a deputy they will contact you by telephone instead of arriving to see you in person, unless the situation warrants the deputy’s presence. In an emergency the Sheriff’s Office can be reached by dialing 911; all other calls should be placed to 970-920-5300.
