PITKIN COUNTY, Colo.(February 14, 2025) - Due to road conditions and severe weather predictions through the end of the day Pitkin County Facilities, including the County Administration Building, Library and county services at the Schultz Health and Human Services Building will be closing early at 2:00 p.m. today for the safety of staff and the community. The Library will remain closed Saturday and will reopen on Sunday. If you are accessing services electronically or remotely you may continue to do so without interruption, however in person services will be suspended, for contact information for individual non profits located within the Schultz building, please check the Pitkin County Human Services webpage.
Please plan accordingly and check pitkincounty.com for further updates. Stay safe and avoid unnecessary travel. All emergency personnel will continue essential functions. As a reminder, all Pitkin County facilities will be closed on Monday in honor of Presidents Day. Public services will reopen Tuesday, February 18, at 8:30 a.m.
