[ARCHIVED] Expect heavy bike traffic on trails during Ride the Rockies

Ride the Rockies will bring about 950 bicyclists to the Roaring Fork Valley on June 13 and 14. Riders will enter Pitkin County on the Rio Grande Trail on June 13 and stop for festivities in Basalt. More than half of the group will continue to Snowmass Village following the Rio Grande, Cemetery Lane, ABC and Owl Creek trails. On the morning of June 14, riders in Snowmass will reverse their route to return to the Rio Grande Trail at Stein Park and ride the Rio into Aspen. Riders in Basalt will follow the Rio Grande Trail to Aspen. All riders will then head up Hwy. 82 on Independence Pass. Expect heavy bicycle traffic on affected trails during this event.

Espere mucho tráfico de bicis en los senderos durante Ride the Rockies

Ride the Rockies traerá alrededor de 950 ciclistas al Valle de Roaring Fork los días 13 y 14 de junio. Los ciclistas entrarán al Condado de Pitkin por el sendero Rio Grande el 13 de junio y harán una parada para las festividades en Basalt.
