The Pitkin County Board of Commissioners decided during their worksession Tuesday to cancel a regularly scheduled meeting on Wednesday, October 12th in recognition of the Yom Kippur holiday.
As a result the Pitkin County Cares Volunteer Service and Greg Mace Awards reception and ceremony scheduled on that day has been postponed until November 16, 2016. The reception, which is open to the public, begins at 11 a.m. followed by a formal recognition ceremony at 12 noon. The event will be held in the BOCC meeting room in the Pitkin County Library's Dunaway Community Room.
