"Because immigrants have always been a vital part of Pitkin County's civic, economic and social life our Board of Commissioners supports comprehensive immigration reform," said County Manager, Jon Peacock. "This resolution supports a clear path to citizenship for immigrants who work and contribute to our community," Peacock said.
The resolution will be read aloud in both English and Spanish during the televised meeting. A link to the resolution can be found on the Pitkin County website at www.pitkincounty.com/immigrantswelcome.
