Aspenite Tom Marshall was named Senior of the Year by the Northwest Council of Governments and presented by the Alpine Area Agency on Aging at its 30th annual senior awards ceremony in Frisco. Marshall volunteers for Pitkin County Senior Services driving seniors to medical appointments from Aspen to Grand Junction. Pitkin County Aging Well Facilitator Mary Kenyon was named "Friend of Seniors 2018" at the ceremony. In addition to her consulting for the County's Aging Well initiative, Kenyon volunteers by delivering meals to homebound seniors from Aspen to Eagle.
