[ARCHIVED] Veterans To March in Aspen 4th of July Parade

PaperHeartDolls_VetServ_OL (1)

Local veterans are invited to participate in Aspen's 4th of July Parade as they have been for the past two decades. Organizer of this year's event, local Vet Sally Glenn says vets began marching in the parade in the late 1990s when now deceased United States Marine Corps pilot in the Pacific Morry Hollenbaugh encouraged them to make themselves known in the community.

All U.S. Military Veterans, reservists and active duty military are invited to walk in the parade as a tribute to the men and women who have served the country in war and peace. Vets are asked to RSVP with their military branch and unit information so that placards can be prepared. RSVP with Sally Glenn at 948-8278 or email aspenvetsparade@comcast.net
