PITKIN COUNTY, CO (12/3/2025) — The Pitkin County Sheriff’s Office is actively searching for a missing 19-year-old male last seen in the vicinity of Woody Creek Plaza on Wednesday morning. Deputies, along with Mountain Rescue Aspen, are conducting a coordinated search of the area using ground teams and drone technology to increase visibility and coverage.

Residents and businesses in the surrounding area are asked to remain alert and report anything suspicious or out of place to the dedicated tip line 970-716-4160. This includes unusual activity around properties, outbuildings, or vehicles.

For public safety, do not approach or engage the individual if seen. He may be armed. Anyone with information about his whereabouts or who observes suspicious activity should call 911 immediately.

“We are asking our community to stay vigilant and help by reporting anything that seems unusual,” Sheriff Micheal Buglione said. “Our team is working diligently with Mountain Rescue Aspen to bring this situation to a safe resolution. Please do not attempt to contact the individual”

CONDADO DE PITKIN, CO (12/3/2025) — La Oficina del Sheriff del Condado de Pitkin está buscando activamente a un hombre de 19 años desaparecido, visto por última vez en las cercanías de Woody Creek Plaza el miércoles por la mañana. Oficiales, junto con Mountain Rescue Aspen, están realizando una búsqueda coordinada en el área utilizando equipos en tierra y tecnología de drones para aumentar la visibilidad y cobertura.

Se pide a los residentes y negocios en el área circundante que se mantengan alerta e informen cualquier cosa sospechosa o fuera de lugar a la línea de información dedicada 970-716-4160. Esto incluye actividad inusual alrededor de propiedades, construcciones auxiliares o vehículos.
