Vision 2050 Workgroup Meetings

In 2022, the BOCC appointed a 26-member Community Growth Advisory Committee (CGAC) to recommend amendments to the Land Use Code and Building/Energy Code to meet the County’s climate action goals. The CGAC met for 10 months and, on June 6, 2023, presented its Final Report of Recommendations to the BOCC and P&Z. The recommendations not only advised specific code amendments but most significantly articulated countywide community values. The CGAC has since evolved into the Vision 2050 Workgroup, adding representatives from the County Caucuses. Meeting materials are available at the links below.
