Offers a low-cost tobacco cessation program using the personalized “Quit Smart” approach.

For pregnant or breastfeeding individuals and their partners.

  • Telehealth cessation support
  • Incentive-based program
  • Ask your primary care provider for a referral

Pharmacy Access

Local pharmacists can prescribe nicotine replacement therapy — including for Medicaid customers — without a doctor visit. Ask your local pharmacy for details.

Veterans Services

Pitkin County veterans can contact the Veteran’s Services Officer for help connecting to cessation resources.

INSURANCE COVERAGE

Under federal law, most insurance plans cover:

  • Tobacco cessation counseling
  • Nicotine replacement therapy
  • Certain prescription medications

Many services are available at low or no cost.
